No Lovely List this week! But I am going to do a V-Day card roundup later in the week, so check back!
I wanted to post about this amazing tutorial over at The Little Red House! Sheena, who also happens to be a super talented photographer, created her own Farmhouse Table. Genius, right?! I am so doing this one day!
She started with a plain dark wood table purchased from Target's Global Baazar for $50. After purchasing + distressing wood planks from Home Depot, she created a weathered-wood look with a homemade stain, which she made by soaking steel wool in vinegar- incredible!

The whole table cost less than $75 to make. Isn't it beautiful?

i have the DIY ITCH that just won't go away until I move into a new place. It's just dying to get out, the little monster that it's become.

It's stunning!! I think I'm going to have to do this myself -- I really need another table and more seating in my apartment so I can start to have larger dinner parties.
Oh wow how extremely talented is she?! i wish i could do one myself so i woudln't have to buy! and I could always brag about it. unless it breaks of course.

It is beautiful. I hope my husband will make me a farmhouse table one day, but i will have to wait till my kiddos "accidentally" stop coloring on the table.
